Grateful for this journey, thanks to Ruben Östlund and Erik Hemmendorff for letting me be part of the team!
It took 10 months to shoot this film, due to Corona delays. But due to such extraordinary producers they manage to pull it through despite the worst possible conditions, and constant battles with restrictions, lock downs and limitations.

The crew are having a sunset sandwich break after wrap of the day, onboard Christina O, with Ruben in the foreground. I was shooting for two weeks in Greece on this last block of the film, and every evening we had these amazing sunsets looking out at the ocean from this superyacht. Christina O once had guests such as Marilyn Monroe, Winston Churchill, Grace of Monaco, John F Kenney and Jackie Kennedy, who infamously turned into Jackie O when marrying Ari Onassis just months after JFK was shot. It really is a historic and stunningly beautiful boat.
Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Östlund, film shoot block 3 in Katakolo, Greece. Onboard historic luxury yacht Christina O, once owned by Aristoteles Onassis.
This scene of the stewardess team looks quiet and peaceful, but things escalates rather quickly, and I may or may not leave the room with a ripped shirt.

I’m indecisive whether I should keep this dark brown hair color that I got for “Triangle of Sadness”, or go back to my usual summer color - light brown. I love being lighter during summer, but this dark color grew on me. Any thoughts?
Love the costumes in this film. My character is wearing this short with shoulder pads most of the scenes. I’ve grown quite fond of it. I really feel like I’m working on a yacht cruise.
Coffee break during the “Triangle of Sadness” shoot in Studio Fares, Film i Väst, Trollhättan. Sepideh Mazloom, Woody Harrelson, Hanna Oldenburg.
The production of Ruben Östlund’s “Triangle of Sadness” has started up again, this time with Woody Harrelson being able to travel to Sweden joining the team. It’s been an unusually hot June in Sweden with degrees around 30 C/86 F, which is really hot for Sweden. There are no air-con anywhere since most of the time we need to heat ut our buildings, not cool them down. The film studio has been really sweaty, and all of us were soaking wet. I actually love the heat, and don’t mind sweating at all, as long as there’s cold water to get into afterwards.
Unfortunately, because of the Corona outbreak two of the actors couldn’t make the trip overseas due to U.S. lock down. Those scenes will instead be shot at a later date. The rest was filmed by using stand ins as in the photo where Björn Häggsjö acts as a stand in for Woody Harrelson.
As the film is set on a sunny yacht cruise we’re all getting the fake tan on. A long winter in Sweden doesn’t exactly help as the sun hasn’t been out since September. 3 layers of spray-tan and still pale.. God, I miss California. And Australia. In Brisbane where I lived, I used to sun bake for 30 min’s a week and that was enough to keep a good colour - so time efficient!
