We got invited to the premiere of the film “Pleasure” directed by Ninja Thyberg, produced by Grand Slam Film and Plattform Produktion. Hosted by Petré Event. The film was high quality, entertaining, beautiful and chocking without being glorifying nor judging. The music by Karl Frid with both opera and hardcore hip-hop, perhaps inspired by the Madonna-whore complex, lifted the experience to perfection. No wonder it’s been a festival darling. Go watch it!
Won the Bronze Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Palm Springs, USA, based Queen Palm International Film Festival, for playing Nina in “Mareld” by Nordisk Film.
“A woman throws her life away in the promise of divine glory in the next.”
Grateful for this journey, thanks to Ruben Östlund and Erik Hemmendorff for letting me be part of the team!
It took 10 months to shoot this film, due to Corona delays. But due to such extraordinary producers they manage to pull it through despite the worst possible conditions, and constant battles with restrictions, lock downs and limitations.

Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Östlund, film shoot block 3 in Katakolo, Greece. Onboard historic luxury yacht Christina O, once owned by Aristoteles Onassis.
This scene of the stewardess team looks quiet and peaceful, but things escalates rather quickly, and I may or may not leave the room with a ripped shirt.
Mareld won several awards at the Something Wicked Film Festival 2020, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, including Best Feature Film.
I won the award for Best Female Lead Actress!
I’m so grateful. Thank you Something Wicked Film Fest!!
Monday morning auditions. Starting off the week with a bang. Had so much fun today! Best thing about self tapes is the possibility to do casting for international projects from your home town. Today was for an American international feature film.
I shot the audition at Cinemantrix, in Stockholm, with the help of director Arantxa Hurtado and actor Christian Bitar.
The production of Ruben Östlund’s “Triangle of Sadness” has started up again, this time with Woody Harrelson being able to travel to Sweden joining the team. It’s been an unusually hot June in Sweden with degrees around 30 C/86 F, which is really hot for Sweden. There are no air-con anywhere since most of the time we need to heat ut our buildings, not cool them down. The film studio has been really sweaty, and all of us were soaking wet. I actually love the heat, and don’t mind sweating at all, as long as there’s cold water to get into afterwards.
The hotel room quarantines are not so bad for self-tapes. Good lighting everywhere, peace and quiet, not much else to do. I can recommend it, you really can focus easily and get a lot done. For this character I chose the style natural, fresh, girly. Wish me luck!
Unfortunately, because of the Corona outbreak two of the actors couldn’t make the trip overseas due to U.S. lock down. Those scenes will instead be shot at a later date. The rest was filmed by using stand ins as in the photo where Björn Häggsjö acts as a stand in for Woody Harrelson.
As the film is set on a sunny yacht cruise we’re all getting the fake tan on. A long winter in Sweden doesn’t exactly help as the sun hasn’t been out since September. 3 layers of spray-tan and still pale.. God, I miss California. And Australia. In Brisbane where I lived, I used to sun bake for 30 min’s a week and that was enough to keep a good colour - so time efficient!
